VACUUM FORMING
Vacuum forming is a black art to some - as many variables are involved. This has the effect of presenting a moving target - which can be intriguing. I believe procedure is everything - from the initial Solid Modeling of the part to CNC machining of the mold and finally to the high vacuum pressure achieved on the part.

With the advent of electric power - airflow is extremely important for cooling and venting of hot air for safety and longevity of all components. Cowlings and canopies - EDF tube kits and specialty aerodynamic fairings will be on the ever-expanding product page in the near future.

Our first offering in kit form is a performance enhancement for the Hobby Lobby/Phase 3 F-16 Fighting Falcon.

The kit consists of an inlet lip for the front of the intake tube - for cosmetics and structural strength - it provides an overlap joint when glued in place over the front edge of the intake.

The intake tube - was by far the most difficult piece of the three. This intake tube provides the maximum air volume achievable in laminar flow for either a 55mm or 70mm EDF unit. The estimates are a 25% increase in performance.

And lastly a 85% FSA thrust tube.

Many exciting things to come!

See the products page for the F-16 Tube Kit.
